Irvine, CA – July 7, 2016 – Newport Corporation, a worldwide leader in photonics solutions, is introducing convenient spherical lens kits for popular plano-convex or bi-convex lenses. The new lens kits include a choice of 7 popular 1.0 inch diameter spherical lenses, complimentary optic cleaning supplies and labels in a handy storage case. The kits are priced at a 20-25% discount compared to the individual prices of the lenses.
The 7-piece kit contains standard uncoated plano-convex N-BK7 lenses in the most frequently used focal lengths from 25.4 mm up to 500 mm. The bi-convex lens kit includes lenses with focal lengths from 38.1 mm to 200 mm. Enclosed jewel cases provide safe storage of the lenses, which can be re-identified by writing the function of each lens in an experiment on the blank labels provided.
“The new basic lens kits are a very convenient way to organize, use and store the most frequently used optics in a lab,” says Anna Sansan Wang, Optics Product Manager at Newport. “Paired with substantial savings and useful optics cleaning accessories, Newport’s basic spherical lens kits offer great value and performance.”
