Nominations are initiated by members and are reviewed by a committee of topic experts whose recommendations are submitted to the OSA Awards Committee. Ultimate approval is by the OSA Board of Directors.
For nomination forms, please visit OSA Awards Nomination or download information. Nominations are now closed for the 2013 awards and medals.
The deadline for receipt of most OSA award nominations is 1 October. Nominations received after the deadline or those that are incomplete will be held for consideration the following year. OSA's awards and medals program is endowed through the OSA Foundation (OSAF). For more information about the OSA Foundation, please contact staff at foundation@osa.org.
