Program Funds  

In an effort to allow donors to direct their support in ways that are consistent with their own philanthropic priorities the Foundation has created the following funds:

Discovery Fund for young students & teachers

This fund supports interactive classroom and extracurricular activities that provide children with access to science educators and learning materials that spark an interest in science learning and exploration. Special emphasis is given to programs benefiting underserved communities.

Global Outreach Fund for those residing in developing nations

This fund provides learning resources and financial support to students, teachers and scientists residing in developing nations.

Future Innovators Fund for career and professional development

This fund focuses on programs that offer career and professional development resources to undergraduate and graduate students. These activities help students from around the world to build successful and rewarding careers in optics and photonics.

General Fund

This is an all-purpose fund allows the OSA Foundation to direct funds to a wide range of programs and initiatives that support its mission.
