Full Conference Registration
The registration fee for NLO 2011 includes admission to the technical sessions, exhibit, refreshments, the conference luau and one copy of the Conference Program and Technical Digest on CD-ROM.
Student Registration
Full-time students (graduate and undergraduate) are entitled to the same privileges as regular registrants. Students are required to present valid student identification when they pickup their registration materials.
Emeritus Registration
Emeritus members may also register at the discounted rate. To qualify for emeritus status, members must be fully retired and must have been an OSA member for at least 10 years. The member's age plus the number of years of membership in OSA must equal 75 years or more.
Exhibit Only Registration
Exhibit Only registration allows attendees to access only the exhibit hall. This registration does NOT include access to the Technical Sessions, Conference Reception or a Program with Technical Digest on CD-ROM. To attend any of the technical sessions or receive the Program, you must register for a Technical Registration.

Note: OSA Member registration discounts apply for OSA-hosted meetings that take place during the 6 month membership term, but are not applicable for the 2011 Nonlinear Optics meeting. Individuals must have an active full-year OSA membership to qualify for the 2011 Nonlinear Optics meeting’s discounted member registration rate.
Special Items for Purchase
One conference luau ticket is included in the Full Technical Fee. Guest tickets may be purchased for US$ 110 for adults and US$ 90 for children 12 and under. Children younger than 5 are free. The luau will be held Wednesday 20 July 2011 in the evening.
Extra copies of the NLO 2011 Program and Technical Digest on CD-ROM are available for purchase for US$ 75.
A Hawaiian Cultural Workshop will be available to attendees and their families. This 5 hour workshop (2 2 1/2 hour hour sessions) will teach traditional and modern hula and chants with an opportunity to perform what has been learned at the conference luau. The cost is $50 and is not included in the registration fee. A minimum of 10 people is required for this workshop.

Checks and Money Orders
All checks must be in US dollars and made payable to The Optical Society (OSA). Please indicate the check number on the registration form.
Bank Drafts and Wire Transfers
Please indicate on your registration form which bank was used and when the deposit was made. Also, please notify OSA of the transfer to avoid any lost or unidentified payments.
Refund Policy for Registration
A US $75 service charge will be assessed for processing refunds. A letter requesting the refund should state the registrant's name and the amount of payment and should be faxed to +1 202.416.6140. Requests for refunds that are received by 27 June 2011 will be honored. All refund requests must be made in writing. An submission may also be made at OSA Customer Service.
NO REQUESTS FOR REFUNDS WILL BE CONSIDERED AFTER 27 June 2011.
