Full Conference Registration

The registration fee for the Lasers Congress (ASSP/AIOM/FILAS/LACSEA) includes admission to ALL technical sessions, the conference banquet, refreshment breaks, the exhibit and a copy of the Technical Digest (containing the abstracts and summaries from ASSP/AIOM/FILAS/LACSEA on CD-ROM).

Student Registration

To be eligible for the student rate, the individual must be enrolled in a full-time PhD or Masters program. Those enrolled in Post Doctoral programs are NOT eligible for student rates. Students are entitled to the same privileges as regular registrants. Students are required to present valid student identification or proof of enrollment at the time that badge is picked up on-site.

Emeritus Registration

Emeritus members may also register at the discounted rate. To qualify for emeritus status, members must be fully retired and must have been an OSA member for at least 10 years. The member's age plus the number of years of membership in OSA must equal 75 years or more.

Exhibit Only Registration

Exhibit Only registration allows attendees to access only the exhibit hall. This registration does NOT include access to the Technical Sessions, Conference Reception or a Program with the Technical Digest on CD-ROM. To attendee any of the technical sessions or receive the program, you must register for a Technical Registration.

Special Items for Purchase

  • One conference reception ticket is included in the Full Technical Fee. Guest tickets may be purchased for US$ 95.
  • Extra copies of the ASSP/AIOM/FILAS/LACSEA Program and Technical Digest are available for purchase for US$ 100.

Checks and Money Orders

All checks must be in US dollars and made payable to the Optical Society of America. Please indicate the check number on the registration form.

Bank Drafts and Wire Transfers

Please indicate on your registration form which bank was used and when the deposit was made. Also, please notify OSA of the transfer to avoid any lost or unidentified payments. If you have additional questions about this process, please contact the OSA Accounting department through http://help.osa.org.

Refund Policy for Registration

A US$ 75 service charge will be assessed for processing refunds. A letter requesting the refund should state the registrant's name and the amount of payment and should be faxed to +1 202.416.6140 or submitted through http://help.osa.org. Requests for refunds that are received by 16 January 2012, will be honored.

NO REQUESTS FOR REFUNDS WILL BE CONSIDERED AFTER 16 January 2012.
