What Young Professionals say about the program:

"As a new graduate, it is not always easy to find opportunities to get involved in the academic and research community. As a student, many opportunities are provided through the student chapter program and more opportunities are available as you get more established in your field. The OSA Young Professional Program fills the gap between being a student and an established researcher. The program has given me many opportunities, which include session chair at OSA conferences, reviewer for OSA grants, and OSA advisory committees. Most importantly, the involvement in the program provides a great opportunity to interact and work with many fellow young professionals."
